Yes, thats birdshot.
If you see 4BK or 00BK, thats buckshot. As Dave said, buckshots dont come in packages of 25. They do have packages up to 15rds, which are the winchester buckshot/slugs.

If there is no "bk,buck or buckshot" on the box, its birdshot. From the sounds of the amount of rounds, that without a doubt is birdshot. If you're not in an apartment and have distance from neighbors, I'd think about upgrading to 00bk. I only buy 00bk/slugs for my 12ga.

Succinct, if you get down to Ginny Beach or anywhere in Tidewater, I don't know of an indoor range here where you CAN'T fire a shotgun. Some disallow slugs, but shot shells are a "go" fo' sho'."
It's sort of hard to launch clay pigeons in most of them, however.

If you want to get some surprised looks, shoot a few buck or bird shots and then switch to 1 oz. slugs I did that at my local indoor range. It actually rattled the bullet proof glass. Even I wasn't expecting the increased recoil. Damn thing knocked my ear muffs off into the trash can about 4 feet away!
In God We Trust. (Everyone else, hands where I can see 'em)

If Obama is the answer, then the question must have been stupid.

I have a couple of 5-rd packs of "00 Buckshot", 15 pellets each, so I know what I have there. That and the shells are 3" as well. Maybe I should use that for my HD. All I know is that the power felt unbelievable and I gotta have more. I can only imagine that automatic shotgun and how that would feel (the AA12 or whatever it was on u-tube).
