I like shooting light bulbs pretty fun. I have 4 acres in back yard I'm always bringing trash home to blow holes in but not as often anymore due to ammo shortage in my area. :-(

Old useless cds are fun to shoot you could hang them with fishing string and swing them.

I just had to come back here to say that I received some of Jeff's targets, from Paperplatetargets.com, and they are really good. High visibility, high contrast, and a nice uncluttered design.

Thanks Jeff.

Steel I find around the garage and such.

The 3.5" is mild plate steel that can't be shot at with high power rifles at less than 250 yards without damaging it severely; the steel behind is leaf spring steel cut into 14" sections.

If you leave the leaf spring steel reasonably large, there is less of a chance of it breaking, but at 100 yards or so with a 308 or what-have-you, sooner or later it will break.

I love shooting steel. The sound is quite rewarding. I hang it on shepherd's hooks so it swings a little when I hit it.
