no friggin way anyone is gonna believe this, hell I almost don't believe I did it, but that target is from my Mossberg 464 .30-30....at 100 yards....with a 4 power scope. Ammo was federal 150 gr. soft point. Now I didn't fire all 4 of those touching bullseye's in a row. first one was a previous string, fired the flyer at about 1 o'clock, then the next 2 shots I couldn't see where they hit.

I would fire, look through my binoculars to find the hit, correct if necessary, & fire again. After not seeing the last 2 anywhere on the target, I went back to my 25 yard sight in target & punched one dead center. Ok, the scope didn't lose zero. Then fired one more at 100 & was out of ammo, didn't see where that one hit either. Called all clear & that is what I found when I went to get my target. Best I can figure is the 3 missing shots are the rest of the cluster. I must be part Jedi & used the force or something, cuz you can't tell me a .30-30, at 100 yards, will put 4 shots touching each other. but there it is

In Sparta Illinois my "junky POS" Remington 870 express with a turkey xtra full choke took on 50 other shooters with Benellis, perrazzis and maybe some krieghoffs in an Annie Oakly trap shoot. My dad walked into the Remington shop and told them about it, got me a free shirt and hat

Not my best day out earlier this year, but I'm claiming I was rusty!

Marlin 25 (.22 caliber) at 50 yards with a 3-9x40 scope. I forget how many rounds I put through there...

Nice shootin!

I have no real group size to show, but I went out on Sunday and was successful with my m1a at 800 and 1000 yards

Video of 800. The shot is at 0:10 and if you listen very closely you can hear it ring the target at 0:13.

That was shooting 175gr match ammo. I believe it took 5 shots to get on target then there were 3 hits in the next 5.

Backed up to 1000 yards and tried my luck. Ran out of match ammo after 4 shots. Had 20 rounds of Pakistani surplus (POF) and ill be damned if I didn't score my first 1000 yard hit ever with paki surplus! I only had 1 hit with that stuff. Too man flyers. I was reading and adjusting my point of aim with my 'good' hits (most were dancing around the target frame) but every 3rd or 4th shot would hit like 3' away from the target.

Then I had 10 or 12 rounds left of lake city surplus. I scored 3 more hits with that stuff! I was impressed. I know most surplus ammo can be 2-4 MOA. That's a 40" group at 1000 yards!

Anyway, here's the target. 18"x24". The 4 spots with splatter around them were the actual hits. The other 3 marks are from ricochets hitting below/in front.

Thanks for the complement and he's a better shot with his savage mk2 but the ruger is more fun. He's asking for the archangel 556 stock with a sight mark reflex and magpul flip up sights for christmas . I guess I've created a monster.

I've been looking at the archangel stock, but my daughter right now likes it how it is.. It's great that he is into firearms learning the proper way!!

As long as your daughter enjoys shooting I wouldn't change a thing!!! Your lucky she shares a interest in firearms. That's a great way for the two of you to spend time together. Some people really don't know what there missing!!!!!!
