Sig P229R in 9mm
3 rounds @ 10 yards with 115 grain AE FMJ
Here is the rest of the magazine. 15 rounds @ 10 yards with 115 grain AE FMJ
And the more I shoot this pistol, the more I love it.

was this more of a rapid fire, or slower aimed fire??

I try and acquire quick but deliberately with my first shot and follow up shots as quick as the range master will allow me (no rapid fire at my range).
Here are some targets from today, my first time shooting my new SIG 1911 .45, same idea.
First photo is my first magazine @ 25 yds. The rest were @ 15 yds. The last photo is a group from 2 magazines, there were a few shots out of the general area but not too bad for the first range day with a new 1911. I love the pistol.

Found this rummaging around. From the first outing with RIA CS1911. WWB 230 grain. 12 rounds at 10 yards. Could have been better if I slowed down.

Not too shabby.
Point shooting and aimed (yet rather rapid) shots with my RIA.
