Two 10/22's and a CZ 82 Report
No camera, so let's get the bitching out of the way first. Mea Culpa!
Went to the range yesterday and brought both 10/22's and the CZ 82.
The 10/22 Sporter project rifle has a Barska 3-9x40 scope and after a bit of dialing, I can see that it's going to be a tack driver. The HiViz fiber optic sights work great as well.
My other 10/22 wears a Nikon ProStaff 3-9x40 scope and I had to re zero it. I had disassembled the rifle, stripped the bluing and painted the steel with Rustoleum O.D. camouflage paint. Since it has a Team Realtree stock and scope, it looked weird to me with a blued barrel and receiver. Hopefully the paint will wear well. I'll let you know if it doesn't
The CZ 82 is very snappy to shoot. It was 100% reliable and zero failures or glitches. It also shoots very low at ten yards. After acommodating that, it was accurate to shoot.
I used some American Eagle 95gr. FMJ for its first rounds and they were everywhere. Partly me, but mostly the ammunition. Frankly, I was surprised as AE has always worked pretty decently for me.
I also put some Fiocchi 95gr. FMJ through it and it ran great! Slightly less recoil, but way more accurate.
I had to rush towards the end since I had to get to an appointment, but it was a good day at the range.
