Went to the nearby AF base's range to try the Tikka .308Win @ 300 meters (330yds) for the first time. Weather was really nice, only light winds, temperature at 70F and the sun was shining. I had zeroed the rifle at 100m so I calculated an estimate with an app on my phone as to how much I should adjust the elevation on my scope. I had to guess the velocity based on load charts because I don't have a cronograph. The app suggested 19 clicks, but I was also using a supressor so I decided to add 25 clicks and it was spot on. I was using a load I developed last fall and it seemed to be working just fine. I didn't measure the groups but I think they were 3"-ish. I still need to practice my trigger work a lot, but I think I did ok for the first time at 300. Might do a trigger job on the gun also, might help a bit.

Not too shabby for the first time at 300m.Your still shooting MOA!
Doesn't the Tikka have an adjustable trigger? There's nothing wrong with those groups at that range,with a little more range time,I'm sure they would get tighter for you.

Thanks Tx. Yeah, it can be adjusted from 2 to 4 lbs. Decreasing the trigger pull weight might help some, but I'd like the trigger to have a bit more feel when it breaks. It's a smooth pull, but I can't tell when it's going to brake

Thanks. The gun weighs ~10.5lbs with the scope and supressor, ~8.2lbs w/o the accessories.

I pay a 40$ yearly fee to a reservist organization and get to use the Air Force base's ranges 4 days a week during spring and summer.
