Default Testing out the new bench

I built a bench on my "Secret Jungle Range" and tested it this morning to zero out the
.204. I was hoping for cooler weather to ward off mosquitoes but it didn't happen and copius quantities of Deep Woods OFF was required. Anyway here's the bench.

Here's the downrange view:

Another downrange shot:

Here's a view through the scope.

And the results of two groups of three from 90 yards, on the led sled, with Hornady V-MAX ballistic tip 4225fps. First group low...4 clicks up on the scope and 2nd group was acceptable, and the diagonal pull at least consistent for both. (Maybe my sunglasses were on crooked. )

That's pretty much it. The ground slopes so I built a level rifle platform (aka deck) last year and then decided I wanted a bench too.

Rem 700 with a cheap but very servicable BSA scope, not my most high end rig but it is one of my favorites.

Yeah, that is a real nice scope and $350 is not a bad price for it
