Went to the range with a buddy and his father today and got some new toys to play with. Most notable was Smith and Wesson's SD40. I was warned going in that it couldn't hit a lady in a phonebooth at any real range, but got every shot within 2 inches of my target at 15 yards, and probably could have at 25 (only shot it at 15). Kick wasn't nearly as much as I expected, this being the first time I shot a large caliber handgun. All in all, it was a pretty sweet gun. My only complaint was that you had to pull the trigger all the way back and wait about half a second for the shot to go off.
