I'm afraid I was wrong on the distance and must correct myself so I can sleep without a guilty conscious. The target was set at 50 feet, NOT 25 yards. You all can take back being impressed if you'd like.

That's okay, that's still more than sixteen yards. You should definitely practice even closer in than that as well.

... and don't forget, you will improve with time and practice. Just take it slow and careful, accuracy and speed will come with time.

I'll practice closer. I'm going to an outdoor range Sunday. I hope to be plinking metal targets!!

The vast majority of my handgun shooting is done between 3-10 yards as this is what I consider "normal" distance for a defensive handgun. Also, I don't see well at longer distances (old eyes) so I stay within myself distance wise...
