SA 1911 GI Champion 4" - Range Report

Win 230gr FMJ at 20 & 30, rapid-deliberate, standing, modified Weaver with about 1/2 second intervals between trigger pull at target acquistion.

100 rounds with 7 rnd mag and 8 rnd xtrcap mag.

I also ran strongside/supportside barricade drills from crouching/kneeling, with supportside rapid mag change and will post more pics later. The weapon is what you would expect from an SA 1911, solid, good feel, accurate at distance beyond typical civilian threat scenarios.

Sounds pretty good to me.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”Samuel Adams
