Default S&w 629 4"

Just got this badboy last week. Took him out today and was very impressed. Shot Lellier & Bellot 240 gr SP 44 mag and Hornady 200gr JHP 44 mag. The first pic was the first shot. Then the second pic was the rest. They were at 7 yards. I must admit they were all shot SA. Never shot a 44 magnum before. I was feeling lucky

Nice gun. I like the new grips that S&W puts on their new guns.

I am going to have to get a pair for my 629.

Good shooting too!

Very nice, love my 3" 629 Mountain but I must admit it's for 4 legged threats only.

How many full house loads did you fire? Let us know how the web of your strong hand feels tomorrow.

Thanks guys. Yeah I got it because I was a big Sledge Hammer fan back in the day. He carried a model 29 in Nickle. I think he had the 6 1/2" Barrel. Well, I figured a good compromise would be SS with a 4" barrel. We all have to have at least one gun we've seen on the big screen right?

I only shot about 30 rounds and the hand doesn't feel bad at all. BUT when I first shot my Ruger KLCR that was a different story
