Got out to Reed's again this morning to work on mechanics and have fun. I just shot my own today. Brought the 10/22 & 22/45. Goal was to start the process to zero the scope on the 10/22. Indoor I was limited to 25 yards. I got it close enough so when I go to Los Altos Rod & Gun club I should be on paper at 50 yards. I will do a bit of work there and then go for 100 yards.
The weather was nice here today so maybe that is why their was not a waiting list for the lanes. Anyway I had some fun working on technique. The 10/22 work was from the standing position without bracing myself against something. I was shaking a lot. Here are a couple of pictures. For the 22/45 work I was at 15 and 10 yards. The picture below is at 10 yards. It is the last of the 3 pics.
I believe there are more instances of the abridgment of the freedom of the people by gradual and silent encroachments of those in power, than by violent and sudden usurpations .. James Madison
