Wow here I am late to my own party.
Like Mr. Rock said a great day. And don't tell him I said this but the dude can shoot. We were aiming for a tennis ball we hid behind a paper target, so you had to gestimate where it was. Out about ten yards and he nailed it like 5 out of seven with his Wilson. I had ten shots with the MP 45 and only got it four times. He could hit the dang ball as it was swinging wildly back and forth from the last time he hit it. Damn. Of course I bought lunch,,, I got schooled.

I took a couple 45s, a 38 super, my old Star 9mm, and a Buckmark. I shot a couple of Rocks Glocks. My first time. Not so bad. But I don't think I've caught the dreaded fan boy disease.

It was very nice meeting Mrs. Rock and one of the pebbles. Nice family. Glad we did some pistols this time sir.

Well, first off, you are too kind. The Wilson shoots itself with no input from the shooter.

Jo's postwar .38 Super Lightweight Commander is wet dream inducing. It shoots like a .22 and is WAY more accurate than my S/S Gov't .38 Sup was.

His old Star is also a piece of art. We used to sell them new for about $200, and like a knucklehead I never bought one. Dang. Of course ours were chrome plated with pearl grips, but who cares. Too ghetto for me at the time, but I'd be on that today like a lion on a warthog.

My Buckmark is now exactly 25 years old and has the original plastic grips, which suck compared to the new ones. Too square and sharp. I'll be looking for another set of grips, and that gun may see a lot more use.

Indoor ranges are not my favorite, but the quick convenience made a trip today possible. Good times, good company!

Bravo! That sounds like a great time and those are some sweet shootin' irons.

It was all I could do to not club Jo like a baby seal and take his .38 Super.

And you came up in conversation today, Don. You are a celebrity.

Are you sure it was celebrity and not notorious?
