Range Report Colt 38 Super

Part Two

So I took some ribbing about my marksmanship diuring my first range report on the Colt Super.

That was fine I knew I was all over the place

Targets were at the same distance of 21 feet at the same indoor range.

Ammo this time was range reloads instead of factory new. (Half the price)

Also have the great new grips sent to me by CA357 (thanks again bro)

Conclusion: Best advice I think Ive gotten from you guys was to go get that 22 Buckmark. Being able to afford a lot of range time really helped improve the skills.

Wow. Really great improvements there Jo. Nothing beats plain old fashioned practice. I am a HUGE proponent of doing a lot of training with .22cal version/style/similiar pistol to what your primary carry piece will be.

Get all the junk and rust off your skill set with the lighter & cheaper rounds and then fine tune with the larger bore pistol just like you have been doing.

That is a dead bad guy all day long around these parts. :D

Most excellent, Jo. A perfect reference to what is said all the time here. Practice, practice, practice. :D

No doubt that shooting is a perishable skill - requires lots of practice to stay on target. Good shooting there Jo...

Outstanding! Glad you like the grips. :D
