DefaultRange Report

Went to the range today. We had several rifles that we are zeroing in on handloads for. I am pretty impressed with the Hornady Leverevolution bullets and the corresponding powder from Hodgdon. Shot a 3-inch group with iron sights at 100 yards with one load. Should be able to tighten that up some in the future. Also got some pretty tight groups out of the Garand with IMR 4895. I want to get some 173 grain bullets to put in front of that powder though. The Savage Model 12 was the best of the day with 3/4" groups in windy conditions.

All in all a great day!

I rarely do take pics. Just one of my quirks. When I do I rarely post them on the internet. My avatar is one of the rare exceptions. I suppose I could have taken some of the targets (if I had a camera).
