range brass ?
quick question before i head off to a vancouver-area shooting range. :
do the range owners ever collect the spent brass ? I kno brass is semi-precious and metals are all going up.
Do you think the owner would be pleased if I offered to clean up some shells ? I want them for arts & crafts / cool pics / music videos / reminding me what ammo looks like.
... I know a lot of people save brass to reload. ... what'd yall think, good idea ?
Or has this economy made ppl stigny about their brass ? thank you.

If the range you shoot at is a private business, I would ask the owner(s) if it was okay to pick up brass other than your own. There should be no objection to you collecting your own brass.
At the sportsman's club I shoot at, any brass left is fair game to collect.

depends on the range. the one i attend doesnt let you take brass that isnt yours but you can take your own or brass people give you. most dont care if you take the steel cases. since most often your doing them a favor taking the steel out of the brass.
