Default Quick trip to range with creedmoor

Quick stop by Ada Rifle and Gun Club to shoot my Ruger American 6.5 Creedmoor.
100 yards Swede Fusion 6.5x55 140 grain ammo.
Just had time for one mag. Wind minimum with a slight breeze.
Shooting off a solid bench with a cheap bipod and bag.
Not bad. Shot 4 rounds. 3 good group and one flier that was caused by Matt Damon.
Will need to tweek the zero down a couple of clicks but happy with the results for not shooting it for a while.

Thanks. Really want to get it tuned in at 100 then take it out to 200. Our range has that ability. I think I'm just a touch high (maybe two clicks). Have zero time to shoot anymore than I did. Was a near perfect day to do it.
Thanks for the comment.

It's very likely you're close to dead on at 200. I sight my 700 Remington/Lapua Barrel .260 Remington (107 Sierra Matchking/ 37.5 Varget) silhouette rifle at 1.5" high at 100 yards, and very seldom do I need an adjustment at 200 yards....

other than the one flier, pretty decent shooting. but am curious as to why blame the flier on Matt Damon?

and i agree with CousinJack. at 200 yards, i suspect you will probably be right on the bullseye.

Thanks. Wanted to be as close as possible at 200 because I intend to stretch it out to 500 and beyond on steel when I get my targets placed.
Your input will be greatly appreciated.

I blame everything bad on Matt Damon. He's my Moriarty.
Last year (the prick Matt Damon) he was in Australia telling a crowd how America needs to confiscate and eliminate private ownership of all guns other than shotguns and hunting rifles and those should be heavily regulated. This from a man who has massive guns and explosives in every one of his movies. Hell his career is based on AR's and Hi capacity hand guns, yet he campaigns for gun control.
So everything that goes wrong is now caused by that prick Matt Damon.

I shoot high power silhouette at 200 meters (chickens), 300 meters (pigs) , 385 meters (turkeys), and -- different load (142 Sierra Matchking, 44 grains, Reloader 22) at 500 meters for the Rams.....

My adjustments: 1 1/2" high at 100, dead zero at 200, plus 2.5 MOA at 300, 4.5 at 377, and 9.5 - 10.5 at 500 (depending upon light and temperature). The targets in silhouette have to fall off their rails when hit to count, and while I took two/four Rams with 105s at the Nationals when I ran out of Ram loads, it's an iffy thing! They fell very slowly, like they were bleeding to death! The 142s smack the damn things good! :-)

Hey Jack. I don't reload, so I guess I'm at a disadvantage when stretching the gun out. But my creedmoor seems to like the ammo I buy and I'm doing all the work with the same/same.
If the rain holds off tomorrow and the wind is less than 25 mph, I'm going out to shoot it at 200. I think you are right and I will shoot a group and see.
Will try and post 200 targets tomorrow with no change.
Thanks for the tips
