Pay Attention here now
This target was shot at 200 yards with iron sights to take the BLACK POWDER CARTRIDGE RIFLE CHAMPIONSHIPS at NRA Whittington Center at Raton, New Mexico last year. It was a .32-40, in a 44-1/2 Stevens rifle.
Anybody got one that will beat this?

Every one of those are touching the white aren't they? Freaking nice. I'm a good marksman, 4th award expert with an M16, and I don't think I could even come close to that.

Old guys,,,,iron sights,,,,old black powder rifles.....hahahahaha,,,,200 yards I could do that with my scoped rifle, but dang, not iron sights.

I could do it with a scope, but even then it would be a real challenge.

That's amazing! I definitely wouldn't be able to do it at 200 yards with iron sights. My eyes suck.

My eyes sucks too. My sight range at best is 20 - 25 yards maximum.

Lightweight!
If you want a real challenge, try shooting off a roller-coaster, across the amusement park, at targets mounted on bumper cars, and without hitting anybody either!

Hmm, well, you arent going to be looking thru a regular $10 set of Track of the wolf sights, those rifles have tang mounted soule sights on the order of this sight. http://www.montanavintagearms.com/101_midrange.html, and up front is one similar to this one. http://www.montanavintagearms.com/120_stevens_spirit.html. So, you see, those fellers are squintin thru a bare minimum of $900 worth of target sights. That cup sight on the back actually functions like a telescopic sight. It is amazing when you look thru that, you can put the crosshairs right on the white dot. Y'all need to go to Whittington Center and watch one of the matches. There will be shooters from all over the world.
