Panther DPMS 308 LR

Does anyone own this firearm and have a decently comprehensive report to share on it?

DPMS: AR-15 Rifles, Parts and Accessories.

Nothing wrong with the DPMS however my choice would be the Rock River LAR08.
They just have some features that I really like and I took the one I have in a deer hunt and it worked flawlessly.
They have the 2 Stage National Match Trigger in them which is fantastic
Their accuracy even in the 16" Barrel version is around 1 MOA at 100
The magazines are not proprietary! You can buy FNLAR Inch or Metric Magazines for them.
The bolt catch is FN Style and ambidextrous
And they have a ltd. lifetime warranty against any factory defects
And of course come in varmint and heavy barrel models.
You might want to check one out.

I own a DPMS LR-308-b , but I don't have a formal report on it.
I like the gun, and the only problem I've found so far is an extremely tight chamber. I've had to disassemble some factory ammo, and run it though a short base die to get it to chamber in the gun. So far, I've shot it at 200 yards, using Federal ammo, and got about a 1/2 inch group off of a steady rest.

We have one for sale at the shop and it seems to be a very solid firearm. I'd wouldn't have a problem buying one if I were looking in that market.

I actually have my heart set on a FN AR.

I love my dpms. It's definitely custom though. I added a jp vtac forearm, a sweet Krieger 20" barrel with an attached mucilek compensator, and a fab defense buttstock with adjustable cheeck piece and integrated monopod. I'm thinking of selling it if anyone's interested. I've heard good things about the rock rivers too... The only complaint on my gun is that it is picky on ammo, it's not an ak. If I stick with premium factory ammo or reloads it is more accurate than my bolt guns. Ragged holes and clover leafs all day long.

pm me if your interested in it. The Krieger barrel is really nice, probably worth about $2,500.

I have the a LR308 A4P(16" carbine) and have really been happy with the workmanship and quality of the rifle,I was very surprised and amazed by the out of the box accuracy.
I bought the rifle about five or six years ago for shooting and hunting and have been very happy with my purchase
