Default non range report

six guns, uncountable number of rounds... and nothing to report

Range was JAMMED with people. I don't think I've ever EVER seen it like this. Good time to be a range owner! Chatted with the owner to find out WTH I stole from my father in law today. Chatted with my conceal instructor who suddenly said excuse me and ran off to another part of the building... after she heard a slide being racked. Damn my hearing is bad. We're going back tomorrow morning to shoot SWMBO brand new .380 and three different custom loads, and a special 9mm load the reloader said I was really really going to like. Need to double check my .22 red dot sight and the different rectile settings, and I want to run some more ammo through the P22.

Maybe a report tomorrow, LOL

Well I had a great range day today, haven't gotten around to telling about it yet.

What does SWMBO mean? I see it a lot and couldn't find it in the list of acronyms.

Laws in MI are actually pretty open... BUT, they have some strange quirks
With out a conceal pistol license, can not carry at a school
with a CPL, can conceal carry in the parking lot
with a CPL, can open carry in the school

Similar in a bar

Restaurants get their own quirkiness

SWMBO - She Who Must Be Obeyed -aka the better half

I walked into the indoor range this morning and I was the only one there. I was trying out some +P 38spl practice loads for my 357. 4.8 grn Universal and hardcast LSWC.

How to work today. I want to go to the range in the morning. Wife wants to do something else.

Last time off I went to the range, it was a mud pit with the melting snow and traffic.

During the weekends, if you're not at the range office by 0830, prepare to wait. I have seen 20 deep waiting for a space to open up, estimated shooting positions at the rifle, pistol and muzzleloading range is at or just about 50.

Weather has no effect either!

Yesterday I went to the range and rented a H&K 9mm usp, that is the smoothest gun I have ever shot.

Ok, went back today, mucho quieter.

Doubled up on the hearing protection, man did that make a diff!

SWMBO fired a LOT through her new Bersa .380, tested some special ammo from the local commercial reloader. She's going to stay with his std load. She's found the CT does not match the iron sights, so I'm going to have to make a slight adjustment.

I re-aligned my red dot on the 22/45. It's hitting really nice now. Also tested 3 of the 4 rectile options, and they all are hitting the same spot.

Then I played with my XDM9 Reloader gave me a few 147gr bullets to try. Holy crap were those sweet. I should have saved a couple when I ran the target out to 50'. Had a blast today!
