10yd is 30ft. A meter is a little longer than a yard, I'm sure you know. 7-15yd is common for handgun distance. Once you get past 10-12yd, accuracy becomes a huge isssue with handguns.
Damn these confounding imperial measures! Yeah I meant 15 yards, as it turns out lol. I shoot at the oldest range in Australia (founded for the 1st AIF to train at in WW1) and all the distances painted on the sidewalls are yards, I just realised
It might be heresy to you guys, but metric is so much easier
