Default New PF9 range trip

Shot my new blued PF9 today for the first time. Sn # batch SB. I found this pistol to be more accurate then my first PF9 in the RZ batch. My first one was also trouble-some and would fail to eject at least once a mag even with new extraction parts. (Both spring and extractor) This new one how ever pleased me more. It only had 3 different minor malfunctions.

1. One failure to extract with a federal 115g FMJ round. - http://youtu.be/zFZPvWoTZIA
2. One failure to feed with WWB 147g JHP round (not uncommon)

3. last mag with only 4 rounds the slide didn't stay open after the last round. Federal 115g FMJ. - http://youtu.be/oT9SVLP8fkI
Heres some pictures: a target at 7yrds with Hornady Custom 124g JHP... a few spent casings that show nice consistent even hits on the primers... I also saw wear on the magazine follower only after 100 rounds.

But over all I was very pleased with the trip! I'm sure these minor malfunctions are just the gun breaking in. Nothing I'm concerned about.

I am going to assume your FTE's are user error and not the machines fault.

Even slight limp wristing will cause the PF-9 to stovepipe.

Good to hear your happy with the rig and had a good day at the range.

Didn't stove pipe. The extractor failed to pull the spent casing from the barrel. Don't think I was limp-wristing. I have it on video: http://youtu.be/zFZPvWoTZIA

Ahhh, I don't think I could trust that pistol for concealed carry self-defense---too many problems if you ask me. I've been using two smaller pistols (yeah, they do cost more); a Kahr CW9 (acually two of these-one each for wife and I) and the really slim little Walther PPS---both in 9mm. They don't jam!! I don't want to be in a position to have to explain to a bad guy: "Pardon me while I fix my gun!"
