I only shot once so...

I am trying to get less sloppy so the next time I try 600 yards I'll hopefully be a little more focused. I am using that 3 inch target and only shooting once a day for awhile so i can dwell on what my mistakes are. I am also adjusting for wind with the dial instead of holding left or right like I usually do.

If I do well, maybe in a few weeks I'll try 600 yards again. I've taken 5 shots at 600 on 3 different occasions, the closest I have gotten was the last time; I shot once and got about 3 inches from an 8 inch paper plate. So close and yet so far!

Thanks for reading.

Default An Update

It was raining the day before yesterday and I couldn't see the hit so I painted a 3 inch square on my 8 x 12 target and shot another shot from a clean cold bore. Then I adjusted and shot another shot yesterday.

Hopefully I can start hitting the 3 inch square consistently or at least more times than not.

The last shot at a 3 inch target at 300 yards.

I think I'll move on to 400 yards with a 4 inch target now.
