I still say that when a date comes over, you answer the door and have her cleaning the .45...

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

Default Great Dad-work

Always good to get kids shooting with their parents, because the first teacher's rules tend to stick!

Congratulations, mate! It's great to get your kids involved. I've convinced my girlfriend to go to the range together, but I still haven't got her permission to start teaching her kid. He's 8 and it would be fantastic to start him young.

There's just one thing that surprised me, Cane, you own a Glock?!? :-)

I drank the glock kool aid for years. Then I bought a Colt 1911, game over!

When I bad mouth the glock I speak from experience.

Just don't spread it around, I've got an image to protect! My daughter's first shooting experience! - Range Report

This kind of lunatic.

Cane, I share your pride and joy of having a daughter spend time with you at the range. We do it every month or so, and it's definitely time well-spent. Nice job, Dad!

I have four (yes, I said four) daughters, aged 22 to 15, so I nearly cried reading through your post! And what an awesome legacy to leave to/for your daughter: the comfortable knowledge and power to protect herself and her loved ones in the future when she gets to own her own rigs. She's a natch.
Thanks for another terrific post. Could be your best yet!

This may be an old thread, but does anyone besides me think that Gork looks like Dale Sr?
