This is my measured 50 yd. Range in the back yard.
My closest neighbor is 600 yards in the opposite direction.
There are no neighbors in this direction, just woods.


I made the Target stand from old Bed Rails.
I used Oak at first, but that was torn to pieces in 2 weeks.
That is a piece of 3/8" Steel Plate back-stop, just for the heck of it with a "No Tresspassing" sign on the other side.
I like having 12 Targets to shoot, 'cause I don't have to walk so often to change them.

Man, you're lucky and I'm jealous as hell, that's a real nice set-up you've got there. My dream is to live on a big ranch in Montana somewhere that I can shoot off my back porch at pre-positioned targets and the place is so big no one (neighbors) is close enough to me to hear the shots.

That's some good shooting too! I can't really see what you're shooting, but it looks like a 10/22. It looks like the CCI Green Tags are working good for you. I'm too cheap to buy the good ammo, the Federal 550 Bulk Packs give me good enough performance for my needs.

I rent a one-bedroom Brick House on 100 acres of fields and woods.
God answered my Prayer, literally, 10 years ago when I came across this place.
It's at the end of a Private Gravel Road and Very secluded.
I plan to move in two years. My kids want me closer and they're building a 3-room cabin for me in Monticello, Kentucky.
I will miss my llittle piece of Heaven!

I don't use a Rear Bag, just my shoulder.
My "Bench" is a $20 Harbor Freight "WorkMate Knock-off" with a piece of ply-wood to make the platform bigger.

50 yards is about the Max range for this cheap Scope, though I've made Head-shots on Groundhogs at 75 yards.
At 50 yards the Cross-hair totally covers the 1/4" Black Square in the middle of the target.
