Default Mini 30

I went to the range today to try out the Mini 30. Could not hold off any longer. It was windy but it was pretty much a head wind so not much deflection. I was using Tula to get on paper cheap. 5 failure to fire due to hard primers. Fired the second time through. Used the junk on the berm method to get close. 1st 2 rnds were low and left about 1 1/2" apart so I adjusted and 2nd 2 rnds were still a little low and left but still about 1 1/2" apart. they are at the bottom left of the target. I adjusted and the next 6 were shot with no additional adjustment to see what kind of group I could get. Still a little low and left but surprising from what I have seen from Mini's. I was using a Harris bipod and a Konus 2.5x32 shotgun scope. I like the reticle. This rifle may deserve a better scope. I believe the previous owner must have done some work on this rifle. The trigger is better than most I have handled and it doesnt through brass into the next county. Pretty happy right now.

100 yards. It really surprised me how well it shot. The highest hole was the 5th rnd. I reloaded and the next 5 rnds are about 2". It was getting ready to rain so I had to pack up.
