Got it that way Bud. I haven't caused an idiot mark since my 3rd or 4th 1911. And Bear - it shot flawlessly with Chekmate mags...

Ohhhh. wait. it's from the slide catch and what not being twisted out?
thank God I learned how to field strip a 1911 at a young age  gotta love airsoft 
too bad I'm still 255 days from being able to purchase a real one...
but i loved the Para Ord. I fired as a rental. Less recoil then my dad's Sig 2009 (9mm)... or at least more controllable for me

I'm not crane, but I can answer that  I think....
The slide lock is also the takedown pin, and to get leverage some folks rotate the slide lock, which scratches the fram.
