I'm hoping to be there on the 17th. If I can swing some funds for optics on the new 6.8 spc we can pop her cherry out there.
If need be I'll pop the scope off my M4 and we can slap it onto your 6.8. It's in a LaRue mount.

Good deal. I'm putting it on the work calander now that I'm not at work.

I think I'm heading to Bass Pro this weekend for some prone shooting gear.

There is a provision in the law here that allows guns that are on "the list" to be brought into the state for the purpose of shooting in matches. Grey area, but fairly well defined. The rub is that the guns need to go "directly to, and from" the match.

Thanks, Jack. Great day.

I'm working a "trade angle" for a Weatherby TRR so if that comes together the "long range days" will become "longer range days". It is in .300Wby, but I might re-barrel to .300WM because I got out of the .300Wby game a few years ago but have tons of .300WM gear.

A perfect way to spend 8 hours, fondling an M1-A, my kinda day!

Glad to hear more good things about the S&W MP15-22 rifle. I've got a couple and shoot the snot out of them. They run 100% w/CCI Mini Mags and are pretty darn accurate.

Great post! Love the pics! Ken

Thanks, Ken. We only ran the Federal Bulk (400rd brick) stuff in the M&P22 and it worked great. Anything that will run that garbage will run Mini Mags and Velocitors with aplomb.

If you dry out aplomb, you get a prune.
