Default Jennings J-22 (525 rd endurance)

525 Remington Golden Bullet value pack 36 gr brass washed lead hollow point
My targets looke pretty tore up after the shoot, but since I didnt shoot at many, it will be impossible to get an exact round count; but I like how I did
25 fail to eject
1 fail to extract
3 fail to fire
Of the 25, four were in the last magazine alone
The fail to extract I am going to say is an ammunition failure becuse of how hard I had to push to get it out of the chamber and the spent casing being cracked from the case mouth to about half way to the base.
The three fail to fire happened immediately after I put oil down the firing pin channel and caused light in strikes.
All in all though, my trigger finger feels sore... to the point where using the mouse scroll wheel hurts. All in all it did all right. Point of hit is slightly to the left and up. I could get decent hits out to 15 yards but it looked more like a nice shotgun pattern. If I could put some better sights onto it, I would

This doesnt account for all the shots taken, and I didn't put an equal amount in each target (I didn't really keep track, I just shot until I felt like switching targets)
The target ranges for each one it 7,8,9,10,11,12,13,14,and 15 yards.

Here's another pic. I forgot to mention that I didn't bring tape with me so I ended up running a bullet through the log backstop and using a spent shell like a tack

Good range report. Considering the bad rap those little J-22s have, that sounds like it ran pretty decent for you.

A few hours later and my trigger finger is still a little sore, but I think it might be caused by my finger hitting the bottom of the trigger guard.

Can you post a pic of your J-22?

For the people that may not know what a J-22 looks like.

Nice little pistol.

It looks like it's in good condition. That is some proof right there that there are a few "ring of fire" pistols that will run decent.
