Default I got a new gun.......

After much researching, reading, renting and asking everyone what they thought, I finally bought myself a small gun. I decided on the Sig P238 and I thought I would go for broke and get the "Lady" model.

http://www.sigsauer.com/CatalogProductDetails/p238-lady.aspx

I actually bought it in Monday but because I live in Illinois, I couldn't pick it up until today. So I went and got it and went right into the range with it. The gun shoots like a dream but it did seem to ftf with the last round in the mag. Not every time but more often than not. If anyone can offer suggestions, I would appreciate it.

Here is a couple pictures of my gun that I took with my cell phone.

A picture of my gun in hand to show you size. My hand is pretty small

Hopefully a better picture of my Sig P238.

Here is a stock photo.

And here is the target I shot up with this nice gun of mine. I shot about 40 rounds through her today. The target was set at 7 yards.

And could you believe it? I was able to figure out what all those complicated buttons were on the gun and I was not intimidated and even knew how to take care of any jams or ftf's all by myself.

So, later tonight, after I get some sleep, I'm going to take it apart and clean it. I am very excited to have this gun. She shot like a dream and I think I did pretty well with it. The recoil was very tolerable and it was quick to get it back on target. Today I just shot some range ammo but I also bought a box of Hornady Critical Defense ammo.

I'm going to check out the night sights tonight after it gets dark.

I don't know yet. I have a Maggie and a Minnie. I'm going to have to think on this a while. I am taking suggestions.

Lil Red? Lady?

Oh, yeah, as I was picking up my gun the guy at the next counter was bringing in some guns to sell. He had an SKS with a spike bayonet which I would love to own and there was one.........right there..........getting ready to be sold. I wanted it very badly. But I don't have any money left.

I really meant that i was "in touch" with the longing for another firearm at the time of a firearms purchase. I ended up getting my CZ75b at the same time i bought my GP100 due to that very problem, hit the ammo fund pretty hard.

I do love the spike bayonet on my SKS, though. One day, i hope to roast a veggie dog using the bayonet to hold it.

What about a holster for the itty bitty?

Hey, there are some rosewood grips for this in the classifieds.

Congrats Winds, she looks great. The FTF could be a couple things. It could be the ammo (if it is only the last round that FTF, that could be ruled out (but not forgotten)), it could be the magazine, or it could be the gun (needing to be broke in). After you break in the gun, that problem could go away pretty quickly.
BTW, nice shooting.
