I just take what I feel like taking. If I want to shoot every gun I have, I take them all. If I want to just work with one gun, I only take that one gun.

Last trip was with a friend who completed an AR build, so my wife and I loaded up ours. Two rifles and seven pistols and lots of ammo . Luckily I had enough chamber flags with me.

Well I have to many to try to shoot at the NRA range and the other couple ranges I used to shoot at they charge by the hour and generally limit you to 1 hour because there is always shooters waiting to get in so I joined a private range last year and we have 60 or 70 members so now I can bring all my guns and shoot all day... I don't but I could normally I take either pistols or rifles don't usually take both, my range also has a Trap & Skeet area, you do have to police the area afterwards of course I always police my brass when shooting it cause we reload.

A lot of cleaning afterward.

For the last trip to the indoor range I took two .45 pistols for me and one 9mm for my wife. An out range trip would typically be 30-06 and .223 plus .22, 9mm and .45 ACP.
