I just picked up a High Point 9mm carbine with a target stock or the "ts" model. Yes, i know it's a High Point and I know I will be bashed for this but I got it because it was cheap and look like a decent HD weapon. Took it to the range, mounted a bsa red dot on it, sighted it in, and the plinking began. Overall it was incredible. Most of my groups were 1in. groups using 5 shots and my best group was .75in. with 5 shots. I was really impressed and I would recommend this weapon to anyone. |

We continue to hear good reports from High Point owners.
Maybe some of the hate will diminish.

Looked at this model a while back, the new target stock model is a radical improvement over the old Planet of The Apes look, at least in my opinion. Hear lots of good things about the rifle...best of luck and have a blast. Post some pics... __________________ "His nuts...they gone." - Karen "Bullseye" Smith

I have had a Hi-point 995 carbine since they 1st came out, 10+ years ago. I topped mine w/ an old soviet 4x32. 50 yards, I can shoot a rat, not one from Washington, but a brown one. Sh!t, I had better figure a better way to put it again. It will eat anything(not talking a politician) shoots real well. The sights are similar to an HK. I wish someone would make a 40 round drum. __________________ Freedom is not free. The best of us always leave too soon. |

Great carbines, I love my 9mm. I would suggest getting one that uses glock mags, I use mine solely with 33 rounders. __________________ "When the power of love overcomes the love of power, the world will know peace."

I was also looking at the same carbine please keep us updated! I took my son to the range last week for the first time and he shot the beretta 9mm carbine and fell in love with it I didnt fall in love with the price but the HP Carbine is within my price range. I like the ATI stocks they have for it gives it a little cleaner look. Thanks for the info! |

Hi-Points for the money are good plinkers. I had a carbine back in the day. Bought it with a cracked stock. Called Hi-Point and they sent me a new one. No questions asked. __________________ I carry a 1 inch guardrail nut on a loop of 550 cord. Its not whiz-bang tactical, but one shot to the grape, and its coloring books for Christmas.

I have the 4095 and love it. Mine came with a compensator, Weaver mount, ghost ring sight, sling and laser. They have been talking about a .45 acp one for a long time now, but have not released it yet as far as I know. __________________ From C3Shooter:
