Anybody know of a range around smithfield I could shoot my moain-nagant at?

Most of the area around Smithfield is, IIRC, shotgun-only for deer hunting, so likely not a LOT of rifle ranges. But you DO have a LOT of woodland that a friendly farmer or landowner would let you shoot on- if you ask.

Google Chickahominy WMA- there is a public 100 yd rifle range there (no handguns) open part of the year. About 50 miles from you, tho. Would also drive up by Surry and ask a couple of the deputies, and check any gun shops around the area for their suggestions.

Stay the heck away from Vepco Surry with a rifle, or we will be reading about you in the paper....
