Default On Good Friday.

I had a Good Friday, Zombie Man, not so much.

Ruger SR9C, about 9 yards out.

The SR9 and SR9C have been in my radar for a few months now, how do you like yours?

I love it. I like having a safety, I know some people don't, but in half the time it takes for me to draw, I make a habit of clicking the thumb safety down. The "loaded when up" indicator on the top of the slide is nice, and really doesn't interfere at all with sighting. I like this feature because in the middle of the night, if your door gets kicked in, you're not depending on your usually lousy eyesight in those few seconds after you wake up. One pass with your non-shooting hand over the slide and you can tell if you have a round in the chamber, plus, and I know I'm stretching this a bit, imagine if some fool pulled on one you, or got the gun from you, you'd be able to tell in an instant if the safety is on, and if a round is chambered. Plus, if a round is chambered, but no magazine is loaded, it will not fire, I'm on the fence about that one...but I guess if it's stolen without the mag, it's useless unless you buy a mag for it, something a theif probably will not have on hand.

The action is very smooth, less recoil than the Glock 19 and has a much nicer feel that the S&W M&P 9mm. Trigger pull is very nice, and you don't have to fully release the trigger between shots, (meaning you don't need to release the trigger safety).

Got a Tommy Theis holster the other day, keeping that at 3:30 / 4:00, with a 10 round mag loaded with 124 grain hollow points is surprisingly comfortable, even sitting in a car with a seat belt over you.

When I first bought it, went right to the range and had two ejection port jams in about the first 50 rounds, was a little discouraging, but, took it home, dis-assembled it, cleaned it, (which is very easy, and you don't need to pull the trigger to release the slide), went back on Good Friday, must of went through 150 or so rounds without a single issue.

Only thing I want to add is some tritium sights so I can aim in the dark.

Test it first, but make sure it's clean, I tested one at a range and it sucked because they didn't clean it for about 3000 rounds. Other than that, this is my favorite out of all I tested.
