Default Fun Day at the Gravel Pits

Yesterday in AZ, my brother, some friends and I, all went to a nearby gravel pit in one of the most conservative states gun wise in the U.S. Loads of fun. Started out with an AK-47, and after one reload I was familiar enough with it to obliterate clay pigeons at a little over 50 yards. Renewed my hatred of Glocks that a girl brought, way too small to be of any use to me. A lever action .22 was pretty fun. Put 5 bullets through 4 holes in the bullseye of a target at 200 yards with a scoped AR-15. Got to have fun with a custom made Beretta competition over-under shotgun, got all the clay pigeons thrown for me. And finished it all off with just another plain .22. All in all a pretty good day.

sounds like you had fun, Ploof. So what was the .22 lever action? was it scoped? what did you hit and at what range. I'm thinking it might be an ideal plinking gun.

Sounds like a lot of fun. Scoped guns are a hoot to shoot, aren't they?

I don't know the brand or anything, and it wasn't scoped, but I'll be able to find out later today I think, and it was accurate as hell.

Sounds like you have had a wonderful day! Scoped AR's are a lot of fun to shoot.
