the shot should surprise you a little bit every time. and you should always be exhaling when you are squeezing the trigger (not holding your breath but at the end of your exhale) and if you start to inhale again dont worry just keep the pressure on the trigger and continue to squeeze on the exhale. good luck

I've never fealt any recoil from an AR15, in fact the Ar15 has such little recoil last time I went out shooting my friend who had just had his collarbone repaired with plates and pins and had the staples out week prior was able to shoot with no pain.
