Tell us more. Is that 22 LR? What kind of rifle? Iron sights or scope?

You have just taken the first step on a very long and rewarding journey. I hope you enjoy firearms and shooting as most of us on this forum. By the time you wear out your first pair of ear plugs you will be well on your way. Good Luck.

I love it already! I shot a .22, .270, 20 gauge, and a 12 guage. The pic I posted was with a J.C. Higgins .22lr

I'd rather my own son see me die on my feet as a free man, than watch him go, broken, into slavery.

Ahhh, JC Higgins. Was that from Sears? I've owned a Ted Williams 12 ga from Sears for just about 35 years...and I still love to shoot that thing.
Be careful, the shooting bug is contageious.
