Default first time out with new 1911

First 2 shots were bullseye. 3rd shot was half inch off but shell was ejected in my face. Next 3 shots were also. It did this with every mag load at least 3 times. In the end I had 5" groupings. But mostly because I'm not used to the trigger. Trigger is AWESOME!!! I'm used to Glock trigger. Nothing wrong with Glock trigger but the pull is just a tad longer. My 1911 trigger almost gave me an orgasm lol....anyway, my first time I give it a 9 1/2 out of 10 cause of the face full of brass only. My 1911 in my hands, ill give a 7 out of 10 untill I can tune myself to the new trigger pull.

Lol ok the 1911 trigger is about half or more shorter. Serious double taps...

I own, and like several Polly handguns, XDm, 2 XD's, Taurus Millennium, Taurus Slim, FN, Kel-Tec, S&W just to name a few. They all work well but there is just nothing quite like a well built 1911 in my opinion.

Oh, you'll tune-in to the 1911 trigger fast! Your real issue will be going back to that take-up monster glock!

It's also the fast reset you're experiencing. Welcome to the brilliance of John Moses Browning's trigger design!

Now if you want to improve your shot placement, stop making the gun fire and start letting it fire.

When a trigger breaks, it should be a surprise to the shooter.

It's a zen thing.

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

50rds 7 yds semi rapid fire. Just not used to a trigger pull as short as a 1911. I must agree, Mr Browning is #1 with the trigger. Gotta love the design. Don't think it will replace my edc though. If I ever carry my 1911, ill just have 2 guns on me lol....
