Was working on a five shot 100 yard group w/ my Winchester Model 670 in .243. These were the last five rounds I had with me. Thought I'd end the day on a high note. Four shots, all touching. Let the barrel cool for a few minutes.
The fifth shot. Don't blow it. It has to touch the other four. Sight picture looks good. Good let off. Look in the spotting scope. Disappointment. Fifth shot off to the right of the rest of the group. A flier. The load: 90 grain Sierra
FMJ, 40 grains of H4350. I'll stick with the load and keep working on that perfect five shot group.
