Don't know why but most of the women I have taken out shooting do really damn good. What's up with that?

I think that just might be it.

12fretter, that's one great target and tell your daughter I'm proud of her.

A long time ago it was explained that the ladies hadn't shot as much (usually) so there were fewer bad habits. Next, they weren't male (every one just knows that all American males were born marksmen). Last, most men are built like a triangle, broad shoulders and narrow waisted; while our better halves are built just the opposite with narrower sholders and a broader beam giving them a biological advantage when shooting.
With all of that, it's a miracle we hit the "barn door".

Dang. I don't know if I would have said that.

Golly gee,
I thought I was as tactful as can be.
Maybe I should help grandma out,
By cleaning her gun's gunk out.
If my faux paux is as big as you think,
Maybe I ought ta just sit here and drink.
Perhaps, I'll leaves some pieces out.
Should I be scared,
Just for writing what I dared?
A Smith & Wesson all stainless and chrome,
Wouldn't look good aimed at this Finlander's dome!

I apologize, I didn't remember the spell check. Just 'middle aged" I guess.
faux pas

I think I'll do back in the reloading room and try to bring some order to the scheme of things.

Headhunter,

I was just messing with you. There is no good way to say what you were trying to say. Somewhere, somehow, commenting on anatomical differences of the female gender is going to upset someone. If you were to say something as bland as 'her more feminine stance' you would be accused of telling her she shoots like a girl. As seen in this thread, that is not a bad thing. Women are usually easier to teach how to shoot. The difficult part is trying to convince them that center mass is a more desirable target than the testicles.

Isn't it amazing how many of the gentler halves seem to drop at least one round into the 6 o'clock position.
Before I retired, a female co-worker loved to shoot and her husband had equipped her with a 4" Model 19 and a 4" Model 18 and could she shoot. For some reason, she, a right handed shooter, always shot with her right foot forward. Her husband and I both had to get serious about it before we could beat her.
