Went to the range today. It's only been a week since I purchased this pistol, but my inability to have range time til today made it seem much longer.
Here's the weapon.
I am very pleased with this pistol, very pleased! I was using federal fmj's, and had no issues whatsoever. The only complaint I have is the magazine safety catch. It will not completely drop the magazine when you press the release button. The magazine drops about 1/4 of the way down and sort of gets tight.
I shot 20rds before taking the pictures. Total rounds fired = 125
7yard target, 10rds
15 yards, 10rds

Dead bad guy 10 yards little more rapid fire (doubles and triples)
25 yard OMG I can't even believe I hit it target!!
I love this pistol and shall never part with it. It feels great in my hands, it was made just for me. Yes, you can shoot it if you visit me, just not very much.
I took my taurus pt111 and browning buckmark along as well. They didn't get a whole lot of range time and were sent back to their boxes feeling rejected and jealous. |

You have mentioned it has some heft to it; have you tested your pisto-whippin skills yet?

Good shooting Goju, looks like a keeper. Check the grip screws on your CZ, they might be screwed in too tight and impeding the mag from dropping free.

orangello,
Yes, I smacked the range owner right between the eyes to test that out then left him a tip.
It does weigh 2.2lbs, but it helps the recoil management alot.
Jack,
Thanks for the tip! I'll check it out. I also plan on getting the wrap around hogue grips.
Cane,
Exactly! I was all giddy on the range and can't wait for more range time. It can only get better as I 'break it in'. |

I told you it was a great pistol. __________________ Ineptocracy (in-ep-toc’-ra-cy) - a system of government where those least capable of leadership are elected by those least capable of producing, and where the members of society least likely to succeed or provide for themselves are rewarded with goods and services paid for by wealth confiscated from a diminishing number of people who actually work and produce.
