A Colt purchase does not raise one's IQ or maturity level, even if they start a thread about it.

BTW, did you meaning "reading comprehension course"?

I refuse to dumb down my writing, but here's a clue..............not every comment posted is in direct response to the OP or those posts by others directly upstream.

Geeesh, buy a Colt and expect people to kiss your arse. Unfortunately that's rather typical (bordering on Glock-like)

Thread "drift" has been a problem in computer forums, since the very first forums went online, but back then, they were called "computer conferences".

It's true that not every comment is a direct response to the OP, or others who followed, but that would usually be a very good idea. If someone posts something about XYZ, it's reasonable for others to follow, as long as they're talking about the same thing - especially so, as anyone has the opportunity to start a new thread (discussion).

Sorry for getting you guys off track here - I saw a thread on the Colt 1911, and wanted just one more bit of information, which would be helpful for me, but maybe meaningless to everyone else. (I have a Colt, that has never shot well, for anyone who has tried it, and when I saw this thread, I hoped it would be a place to ask how accurate the OP's gun was.... and to me, "accuracy" means lots of repetitive shots.)

Hell, I admitted my Colt has minor cosmetic issues (in what they used for a rear sight and some machining) and said the newer stuff was probably better (the OP's rig has the newer sight and is of more recent make- that would be a double compliment coming from my prev post).
