The new M4 shot flawlessly ! The Saiga .308 was an embarrassment ! Seems the reticle is broken in the scope. Moved twice in 2 years and shot it last almost 3. Didn't even keep the target. Disgusted.. Time to upgrade scope..
M4. Finally getting to learn her personality. Front sight still too thick. But getting used to it. First target is gettin' warmed up. Second is when its gettin' cold and time to go..Third one is proof I need practice. Did the same thing wrong twice.
BUT.. Cleaning time comes.. M4 gas plug will not come out ! Cannot get plug and piston out to clean. Tried all positions on plug and think a trip to Bushmaster might be needed.. **** !!

Yes, Bushy is now making a new model M4 with a piston. Expensive but yet the bolt and carrier stay very clean ! Prob. is that the gas "plug" on the block is stuck. Going to send it to Bushy as I would hate to damage anything by trying to force plug out. And so new, most gunsmiths probably are not exposed to the model yet. So, warranty is a good thing this time..
