.22s at the range
 

Went to my clubs rimfire range today with my father and brother. The temps were around 80, very humid, no wind. Took the CZ 452 Varmint and a Henry Lever Carbine I picked up yesterday with us. Haven't shot with iron sights in a long time so it took some time getting used to them but I got the hang of it after a while. My brother and father shot most with the CZ because its one accurate little gun so I got to play with my new toy a lot. The Henry has a pretty good trigger out of the box and I don't see a need to do anything to it. The action feels very slick and solid too and so far I'm very happy I bought the Henry. I'm planning to run the gun with just the irons as they are plenty good for what I'm using it for but might try a scope on it at some point just see it's full accuracy potential.

Saw a baby white tail on the road inside the gates on the way to the range but it ran into the bushes before we got the camera out :(

Nice lookin' pair of 22 rifles you got there.

Gah! Did not need to see a picture of ANY lever action .22. I am trying real hard not to buy .22's just for the sake of having them as I NEED to get other firearm purchases out of the way.

Those are sweet looking rifles though. I can see myself owning a Henry.

It doesn't sound like you are talking yourself outa it very well.
