On a hot day it is harder. But on a day with 70 to 80 deg weather it is easy to pick out 22cal and 17 cal bullet holes at 100 yards.

Really nice of you to offer, I appreciate it, but I think I need one with variable focal lengths. Thank you!

Even a really good one will have issues with mirage on a hot day.

the only problem I have with mine is the tripod it is of a very piss poor design and as it sits it slowly falls forward. So if I am not using the chrony I just put it on there and keep it next to me.

Ordered a pre-owned Nikon today from SWFA. I'll use my own tripod. Thanks all for your input.

adding to the thread
ive been looking at burris for a spotting scope.. the one ive been able to look thru was clear. but got alittle small zoomed in. im okay with that tho. however its not the model i want. so is burris a trust worthy brand that most of the models should be close to each other?i looked thru a burris landmark 15x45x60mm. but i am looking to getting a burris high country. 20x60x60mm
