Default Vortex Strikefire red dot scope covers

Everyone seems to rave about how great the Vortex Stirkefire red dot scope is. But they go on to say the covers drive them nuts trying to keep them closed. WELL, I discovered the answer. when closing the covers, press hard on the center of the cover, (not the tab) until it snaps closed. It will snap shut!! and stay shut.
Hope this helps someone.

i liek the fact they are hard to close. means they dont snap open like most scope flip covers do at the slightest bounce.

Yeah I have noticed they come open pretty easy. I will try your trick. In the meantime, have you tried Butler Creek scope covers? They are pretty cheap and nice at the same time.
