What scope would work best ?
Trijicon accupoint 3-9 with mildot would be perfect in that role and it's under 1000$. I've got one I use for hunting and as a precision optic on my non-precision scar17s.

On this one, consider a Leupold 1.5-4X Fire Dot. It has a red dot in black crosshairs. About $400 AFAIR.

Thanks. That was looks nice. They also have a VX3 with an illuminated crosshair that looks good. But it's $100 more. But I think that reticle may be better for quick pick ups.

Thanks to all that gave me feedback here or in other threads. I ordered a Swarovski Z3 3x9x36 for my Kimber 84m 243, and a Leupold VX6 1-6x24 with Illuminated FireDot 4 for my Ruger Gunsite Scout. Can't wait to get them mounted and hit the range. Thanks again for all the knowledge.
