Simmons whitetail classic

Has anybody bought the 6.5x24 50mm Simmons whitetail classic? What are your thoughts?

I bought one from Midway USA. I mounted it on a CZ 527 .22 Hornet. This is a very low recoil rifle. The WT has worked above average for a scope in this price range. The paralax correction is acceptable subjective focus and eye relieve is good. The increments are very close and will shoot a square at 100 yds.:)

My brother had one for a few years on his 30-06 Ruger International. It finally went south when the E &W erector gave up the ghost. Until then it was a very reliable scope.

Have 2 - 1 is quite old was on a .22 mag rifle, now on a .17hmr. The other is on a .50 cal black powder rifle - newer scope maybe 5 or 6 years old - both have worked fine.

sorry - just saw the 6.5x24 - mine are not that large, did not realize Simmons even made that.
