JD, I dont get the part about not a whole lot of mounts for a 56mm. I have a picatinny rail mount and I have two different sets of rings. One set is 1/2" high and the other set is 1" high. One of these sets of rings should be able to mount the 56mm. It is only 3mm bigger in each direction, so if my 50mm had 6mm space from the barrel, then a 56mm would have 3mm space right?

I just put one on my AR and thought it to be a bit dark.I thought the 50mm lens would let in more light but the glass just doesnt seem to cut it.I get better light from a cheap $100 SIMMONS

Last I knew on the Sniper Rifles they were using the Leupold Long Range M-3 Scope 3.5X10. Before that I know they used the Leupold MKIV as well as the Bosh & Lomb scopes up into the 90s.

Nice looking Winchester. You didn't need to rotate the scope 90 degrees to the left to get the knob out of the way of the top eject?

After seeing this thread resurected I would like to take back my original post. I still have the Seal scope on my AR and really like it. I thought it to be dark at first but it still is comparable to a $800 Leupold. Others have tried it and commented the same

It should work very well for $260. My scopes are of the cheap variety (BSA, Simmons). I have no problems with them fogging up, needing to be sighted in, nothing. For $260 the scope should give you 0% grief. Even when you bring it inside from cold weather.
