Don, I have an older Tasco 6x24x42, that's not mounted on anything. If you're interested, I'll send it to you and you can mount it, play with the adjustable magnification, and decide what you want to buy, then send the scope back. A few bucks in postage might save you more $$ in a scope you don't really like.

Your call, sir. The offer is there.

Thank you for your generosity Jay, but the Bushnell is on its way.
“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.”Samuel Adams

Here's a link to it: Bushnell Trophy 6-18X40 AO Riflescope Multi-X Reticle Matte - Natchez Shooters Supplies

The plan is to put it on the Eddystone and move the 3-9x40 Nikon to the 03A3. Once I get the match trigger sorted out on the Eddystone, it will become my long distance Zombie shooter. I will use the 03A3 as a field rifle, so the lower powered scope will be fine.

BTW, I got to shoot Jo da Plumber's KelTec with a Bushnell red dot on it today. It's the first time I've ever shot with a red dot and I really liked it. I think I want to get one for my Mini 14.
I have a B Square scope mount that I can use with it and that will still allow me to use the iron sights.
Congrats on the new toy...I am also looking at the Bushnell but the lower power 4-16x40 model. Would love to hear your opinion on clarity, focus and eye relief when you get her mounted up.
